    ... was so big and rich that it had a free beach boat service that ran up the river to the path which was like 30 metres from the beach, crazy rich and ideal for lazy people) but I wanted to walk to the beach, so did my New Zealand friend Hamish, so we walked together to the beach, the walking path was only like 2.5 KM and a real nice path, so we both enjoyed it and were there soon.     ... on the main highway. But being Turkey with its excellent network of public transport we did not have long to wait before our shuttle bus arrived from Cirali. We had 2 lovely nights in Cirali, a gorgeous little seaside place with all the accommodation places and eating places set under shady trees.And here we enjoyed our first swim in the Mediterranean Sea!     ... was hard enough over the very uneven rocky path. (Not much in the way of a decent photo though!) Today we wandered through the ruins of Olympos...one of many sites that go by the name! It was fabulous, close to the beach and a stream...the ruins were scattered through thick forest and in many places overgrown. Cirali is a small coastal town, but it has it's fair share of pensions, hotels and cafes. Lots of families wandering about...a great place to relax for a few ...
