... regional differences but the places we are seeing just do not have the local restaurants that can then specialise. Even the independent places just drop the same stuff in the same oil as the big chains.

Dr Tom has the best cycling gear. He lives in Palo Alto, California where the climate is so temperate his house probably doesn't need a roof for 6 months of the year and yet his winter gear is the envy of all, especially his rubber gloves which look like tailor-made Marigolds. He always looks well co-ordinated or as the Italians say "bella in selle" - looking good in the saddle.
