... we came to La Jolla. A very ritzy area which held Dallas' favorite surf spot along the coast. He took me to his hidden "gem" and we checked it out. It was absolutely amazing. The waves formed perfectly as they came rolling in along the point. It was at this point I wish I had a surf suit and surf board !

... know San Diego was so close to the border. Pat kept saying you can smell them they are so close! Maybe Sophie will drive me down to the border before I go!!

We walked around taking loads of photo's and walked as far as the old lighthouse. We kept teasing the girls saying we were going to walk down the hill and take the long footpath around the base of the hill. You should have heard their voices!

Today was the day to relax. We went for a nice walk on the beach this morning, and Tod showed me around the complex a little. It is huge. There is a pool in front of each building with a view of the beach. The location is perfect literally steps to the beach, I could get used to this. ... closed for this night, was just open for a private party. Well never mind, so we went somewhere else, where we stayed for a while until Nat and Sarah went back to our hostel. They were still tired from Las Vegas. ,) But i felt fit and was in party-mood. So i stayedon my own with all the guy.
