One man had about 10 toilet rolls! He'd obviously read the news about the shortage! Then, our friend at the port who we had been chatting to two weeks previously remembered us and sorted us a taxi to the bus station for a small tip.
It was a matter of 30 mins or so before we had booked onto an overnight bus ...
... trip was in Bariquisimeto helping build walls, deliver sports equipement and even Barbie dolls! The worst part of the trip so far was the LONG drive to the town. It was close to a nine hour drive and allowed the mission group time to do some real bonding.

well, what i saw made my decision easy, not to wait to see more rituals and to head to the beach.
got my money back from the room that i had already paid (for the 2nd night) and left.
