Fairy-tale city

I travelled from St.Petersburg to Tallinn by Luxbus and it took about six hours with the border control. On the Russian side we had to get off the bus, take our luggage and go through controls whereas on the Estonian side an officer collected all passports and we could stay seated on the bus. The hotel where I stayed the next two days is in the …

Baltic bliss-- well, aside from the wind.

We got into Riga at about 6:30 PM on Saturday, and it is much bigger than Tallinn! We got off to a pretty rough start-- Dad had a mishap with the ATM while trying to get Latvian lats, and his debit card disappeared into oblivion.
