... from newark. We bought the tickets on line and caught the train there at 2 for a 3pm start in Nottingham. Well well well it's come to the end of my first week! It honestly feels as though I've been here for a month....
Everyone at The Peterborough School has been extremely kind and welcoming, making sure we have enough food, warmth and sleep, though the latter two are proving a tad deprived! Jetlag is still a pain, and the cold is certainly not to be trifled with!!

Well here we are - freezing our butts off on the other side of the world!! After arriving at 5:30 on the coldest day of the winter so far, we moved into our house, The Lodge, and then went on a tour of Peterborough (pretty much just to see the shops!!). Yesterday was staff inductions, and today was the first day of school for 2015. I'm helping a lot in both the Prep school and senior school, and everyone has been incredibly kind.

... Wislow and walked into Ferry Meadows country park. It was a drizzly day though still very hot. We went to the Discovery Den where Amy and I learned how to make paper out of recycled card. After that we did the treasure trail around the park which meant we had to walk around the largest lake (in the rain) and find 10 posters which depicted an aspect of the park, then find them on a wordsearch.
