It was a pretty exhausting day today. We only rode 85 miles but the majority of it was on this horibbly gravelly road that just killed our speed. The ride was hard but when we got to Richland and we had an awesome friendship vist with the arc of the tri cities. We'll got up at 3:45 AM! We left the house about 4:40 ish, security wasn't too sure about my carry on so put it through the X-ray after opening it, still didn't like it so took most of the stuff out, and put it through again, glad everything was in those packing cubes.... ... first at an observation area on The Historic Columbia River Highway. The Multamah Falls were beautiful and even better than I thought they would be. Up the road again we stopped at the Bonneville Dam to look at a fish hatchery for Salmon. We stay there for a lot longer than anticipated because we all found it so fascinating and such a lovely setting. ... hauling apples. Both lost. We arrived at our nice RV park and settled in. Our satellite receiver apparently has died. We hope one to be shipped here before we depart on Wednesday. To end the day on another mishap one of the blinds in the living room broke. Tomorrow will be better.
