      ... That seems a bit odd. Not sure where the sand would come from. Probably just my eyes. We pass through lots of little villages which are very agricultural. It's so much more satisfying going by train than flying. It's not a cheap way to travel though. A Eurail pass would be the way to go if you're moving around a lot.       ... end before it dawned on us that a funicular station must be at the bottom of a hill and not mid way up the hill! So back down the hill and sure enough, there was the station.
