We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

... dumped somewhere in downtown Athens, but not quite the touristy part. I still had no idea where I was. I started walking, trying to measure the density of foreigners as a proxy for how close I was to touristy stuff. Eventually I entered a square of some kind [editor's note: Monastiraki]. ... our social media. We of course only had a few notifications so we headed back down to the beach for lunch. I tried the famous Greek meal, GYROS! We later found out that the girl who jumped off of the cliff right in front of us, broke her back and had to stay in Greece for an extra five days to have surgery! I felt so bad - and still do - for her and also wish her a fast recovery! There was also a girl that rented an ATV earlier this day that later came back all shooken ...

After short splash on the eastern shore, almost running out of fuel, ferry to Igoumentisa, a few kilometres by foot (including a Highway portion), we were home. So that I could start preparing the presentation for the next day (final exam, no biggie :) ).
