Today was out last day in Corfu :( Luckily the weather was amazing, blue skies and no clouds. We got out of the apartment early and drove to Kassiopi. Here we wandered around the harbour and looked at the Castle on the hill. My parents went to meet somebody about the house, so I sat in a cafe savouring my last Espresso Freddo. I'm going to miss them ! The Freddos (and i guess my parents too..).

Woke up this morning to the sound of gunfire, followed by a heavy downpour. The shots appeared to have emanated from the flat downstairs. We had already had a few run ins with our neighbour. His name was Michael Kaizer, he was a soft spoken German man who wore yellow glasses. He reminded me of the stranger, from 'Stranger On the Third Floor'. Very, very creepy. ... been slow cooked to point where the fat melted, and the meat became soft and sticky. The mushroom stifado was also a high point, flavoursome and surprisingly meaty.
