... Palace. Nessebar as well as being picturesque is Souvenir Central with a variety of shops and cafes lining the pretty streets. It is located on a small rocky isthmus in the Black Sea , is a UNESCO World Heritage site and dates back to 3000 BC. We love it here and spent the afternoon wandering about enjoying the town. Later we had dinner on our balcony, accompanied by Bulgarian Beer and Bulgarian Wine, and then went for a walk along the waterside in the cool of the evening.

Todays ride was 28 km (under 20 miles). The reason is that the next hop would be a bit long if combined with todays ride. So I had the luxury of a late start. I went down and had breakfast and the cheeky man then charged me a further 2.50 on top of the 40 lira I'd already paid for his room with non functioning aircon and electric that blew for 45 minutes last night. While staying on Bulgaria's surprisingly stunning Black Sea coast, I took a trip to the nearby local jewel of Nessebar. Packed it up and went for a walk to the new town and to the other beach before heading back to our place for a quick shower, a sneaky biscuit and our bags. Said goodbye to our bloke and we hadn't gotten too far down the road when he chased us up and asked for the key back - GREG! Bus to Varna.

Burgas was hosting the first ever MTV Spirit of Burgas festival with Groove Armada, Koseen, Ministry of Sound etc. It was situated on the beach, had an electric atmosphere, great music and was bouncing! All for £20 as well. If you happen to see the festival on MTV you will probably see me & G. Aside from the festival there is nothing happening in Burgas.

Sunny Beach is a holiday resort on the coast of Bulgaria. It's basically sunbathe all day and booze all night. Lots of British, Sweedish, Norwegian, Dutch and German tourists. Not the nicest place in the world but good for a chill out and a few nights on the lash.
