... I am in Thailand travelling the islands after my time back at school. In fact... I am in Dalyan, Turkey at this very moment surprising my beautiful mum to have a two week girly holiday with Mum and Ann before heading home :)! This way my mum CAN be part of my travels and it's all thanks to my lovely Dad for helping me concoct and fund a turkish diversion! I can't wait to see his smiley face at the airport :) and have 8 months worth of dad ...

We sailed from Kusadasi to Marmaris overnight, we were out of bed early to watch the sun come up between the islands as we sailed into Marmaris Harbour, the views were picturesque, well worth our early morning rise. We had to vacate our rooms by 9am, we left the ship about noon, bused it to Dalaman ready to board ...

We had seen pictures of the boat online but in person it was even more beautiful and very ...

... I'm sure! So if you're thinking about visiting Turkey, you don't need to think twice. Turkey is a beautiful country and you will have some experiences here which you won't get anywhere else. So I should probably get to the point... If you get the chance, come to Turkey! We love it and I'm sure you will too. :D Post script, on the way to bed after finishing this Milly almost stepped on a small snake outside her room. Photo ...

    Kaptain June's turtle hospital

... so we were careful where we stepped! The turtle hospital has lots of big tanks for the turtles and the biggest turtle is about 1.5m long and it was 35 years old. The turtles were in hospital for injuries from fishing boats, and some had to have flippers amputated. But that is ok as they can swim ok with three. One of the turtles was biting people at a hotel on the river and the hotel people said if you don't take this turtle we will, so they kept it in the hospital for a while ...
