I talked to the local people to find out about the local culture and often ended up being amused by the way the local people spoke ...

... sporting his flag with pride. Skipping ahead about a week or so..... The big game with Brazil vs. Germany was a travesty in Brazil. We went to our local bar and they had roped off the streets and put a giant screen out there and tons of tables for everyone to hang out. The band was setting for a victory party afterwards, and everyone was in their full regalia. A guy over on the lawn had a bucket full of fireworks he was ready to fire off. We wore our Brazil shirts ...

... could actually go for a camel ride. Bruce and I wanted to do it, but couldn't find anyone to pay. So we gave up on it, and decide to head down to the beach for drinks and inevitably lunch. Our driver drove us past this restaurant that was right on the water, and as we drove past it, he suggested we eat there for lunch later. He said the food is really good. Given the size of the man, I can tell he is someone who loves his food as much as I do, so I was willing go with ...
