Getting from Cadiz to Lisbon involved quite a long day of
travel starting with a two hour train ride from Cadiz to Seville, a city bus
ride from the train station to the bus station, a long wait there for my
mid-afternoon bus, and then a ride of over six hours to Lisbon with stops in

Tower of Belem (C) - Another UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983, and I guess I can understand why. Again the architecture is stunning, the detail is fantastic and its location at the mouth of the Tagus makes you appreciate how important it was to the protection of Lisbon.
