Of course the sand is unbeatable, and I enjoyed it a lot, but never stopped thinking that in Cyprus we have the same quality of beaches, plus that they are safe for all. No sharks, no tide.

Similar beach but much smaller is in Protaras, and Agia Napa in Cyprus.

A STROLL IN THE CITY AND THE CENTRAL BEACHES



There are clouds in the sky today, and I don't feel like going swimming.

It is a day of taking photos!

The stroll is great because there is a sea breeze that makes my walk pleasant.

I loved the atmosphere in there. Campanario is surrounded by different shops as well, and a supermarket.

I enjoyed every minute of my walk in there, especially with the band singing and playing most of the time.

... was 9.30pm when we got to the hotel and I just asked if we could have some dinner, even a sandwich would do, as we were hungry. The restaurant closed at 9pm.

Twenty minutes later we had our dinner brought to us at the reception desk. There were 2 plates for each. Besides the dinner dish, the other plate had fruit and a bottle of water for each of us. (Water on the island is not drinkable by the way ...

Today, for our last full day in Lanzarote - we stayed at the resort and enjoyed a BBQ put on by the poolside bar. It was a very enjoyable day and Anthony was one of the stars for the day, as he put his Canadian BBQ skills to use and BBQ´s for the attendees. Loads of fun!

... also got complimentry drinks as we were chatting to them. Beaches are black sand, and very, very hot, would recommend sandals whe walking during the day. We took a bus trip through the volcanoes which was great. We also went to the water park, would recommend for all those big kids....it was £15 euros for the day, but the food and drinks were pricey.
