We have finally arrived at our destination and are now enjoying an evening on the terrace in Casa Verde! Ali, Sue and I spent a couple of hours there topping up our tans then we all drove South to Calpe for a seafood lunch. Calpe is a largish town with some pretty beaches a lots of high rise ...

We headed in Xabia, a fairly large town with a long, deep beach that, as this is now high season, was pretty crowded. A few weeks ago it was more or less empty. After drinks at one of the many bars and restaurants along the promenade we headed off to the quieter 'private' beach we went to ...

... spanish waiter who may also have owned the place. Once all seated and orders taken, the amusement began, cue some early birthday ribbing for Duncan who was very sensitive about it being his 50th birthday later in the week. Next up, the waiter started picking on people, getting a little too friendly with myself and Tash's brother (Josh) trying to stop me putting my arm around her and trying to put it ...
