... some consultations. I definitely had a good time in Gynecology, and witnessing the C. Sections definitely helped confirm my decision to become a doctor. Though I missed shadowing, I knew I couldn't miss my final opportunity to teach in Base5, so at about 12:30, I dressed myself up and ran over to the hospital--for what would ultimately be my last time. About eight new students arrived, and they're all pretty cool! It was nice to spend one of our best weekends of the trip with them and see some new parts of the island.

He loves to talk about politics, healthcare systems, hospital relations, useful Spanish/English words, and just about anything else that can possibly come up in conversation. He treats his patients and fellow coworkers like family, which I have never seen in the US. It's been such a humbling experience to see him work with his patients, and I've really learned a lot from him--not only about internal medicine and patient care, but also ...
