... one seems to care about one way or another about this pathetic town... such a shame.... Anyhow..., that was my impression yesterday.... Maybe today will be different. We will go up and behind the castle walls... This is where the heart of the city must be. Off we trot, excited for what the prospects of shopping could be. By the time Marina could get below for my foul weather gear, I ...

... but this was a style of 3D art that they used. When we left we descended via the old entry/ exit and it was hard to imagine that the volume of people could have negotiated it in 2004. After the Vatican we headed to the Trevi Fountain. It was having some renovation work but this didn't stop us throwing a coin in our right hand over our left shoulder- 1 to return to Rome,2 to marry,3 if you want a divorce!! I didn't realise the Trevi fountain was in such ...

... silent for 23 hours a day in solitude in their room. They also produce this 90% proof liqueur that we tried at dinner. In their chapel there were angels faces carved into the seats and underneath the seats when lifted up show the different devil faces. The girl giving us the tour works at the local restaurant that provides the monks with their daily meals. They also have lay people to help with upkeep. Our meal at the ...
