    ... upward we found a small town plaza.... Maybe 6 little shops, all carrying the same thing.... Nothing worth buying, or taking a picture here. We decided we would return to Millie, because it was almost cocktail time. "Oh, Robin, this is such a grotty place... I think I should die if I had to live here!" Marina softly mumbled.     ... here and Taormina. Not good for tomorrow -- stay here. The next day will be much better for this 18 hour crossing. With that now decided ... We know we will continue to be in a "weather delay" again tomorrow. Cocktails for us became the first order of business... So it was gin and tonics around, as we compared notes on what we did and did not like about this: "coulda' been nice, shoulda' been nice and probably once was kinda' sorta' nice" town.     ... the Carabinieri. The altar was spectacular and Mary and Jesus statue that is now behind glass due to a crazy tourist trying to smash it over10 years ago. The Swiss Guards protect the Pope and are there for up to 2 years.
