... with low white houses with blue shutters, a couple of shops and a few bars & restaurants. It is very tranquil and for us a lovely change from the hectic life in Rabat. The first day we went into town we just sat with our beers watching the world go by - a few day tripper boats & little ferries, a few day tourists and locals, a couple of people selling handmade jewellery and a handful of landrovers mostly going nowhere … and not much else. The places I love the most in ...
Playa Francesca, Canary Islands, Spain sharkita... BBQ. There was more meat on the table than even Kevin could have wished for. Along with a huge bowl of Sangria - MMMmmm. We met some lovely people; Linda and Marge; her mum and Linda's husband Federico and their gorgeous son! We met Cliff and Clair who spend a lot of time abroad each year and stay in Jose's apartment in Playa Blanca. A great day.

... lots of them, secondly don´t throw up on the wind-ward side of the boat because it ends up all over you and the boat (although by that point I couldn´t have cared less) and thirdly make sure your harness line is long enough so that you can actually reach the edge of the boat to vomit.
I did actually make it up onto deck for about half an hour that night and was able to just about appreciate the beautiful stars and the phophoresence as the ...

Alain had e-mailed us saying how lucky we were to be doing the sailing trip and we of course wrote back telling him what had happened and he got back to us saying he was coming out to join us on the 9th November. He invited us to stay aboard ...
Mercury Rising left Puerto Calero and many good nights behind, on 17th November. We set sail for the Atlantic crossing after a final farewell with family and friends. That morning, we joined Jackame and left Lanzarote with favorable weather ...
Arrecife, Canary Islands, Spain mercuryrisingThis was the tour I had been looking forward to most. A trip to Fire Mountain and look at some real volcanoes complete with Lava flows, caldera's, and collapsed lava tunnels. In addition we also went to the coast and saw how the sea interacts with lava recently (1736), deposited extending the ...
Arrecife, Canary Islands, Spain and Canary Islands mickinwhitby... swimmers enjoyed walking on these beautiful beaches instead of swimming. There were not many people swimming, between 9 -11am, and if they were in the water, they were afraid to swim further in, even though the water had crystal clear turquoise colour.

A STROLL IN THE CITY AND THE CENTRAL BEACHES
There are clouds in the sky today, and I don't feel like going swimming.
It is a day of taking photos!
The stroll is great because there is a sea breeze that makes my walk pleasant.
ALOE CLUB RESORT
I have made reservations through (Hotels4U.com).
I had read both good and bad comments.
I found the deal promising, but I was not sure as to what I would find upon arriving, and knowing that it was just a 2 star hotel. It is the first time I book at a 2 star hotel and was expecting the worse!
We got to the hotel by taxi, and here I want to ...
... has been tinted with black, giving a different look and feel to the landscape. The landscape of the island is not only influenced by natural factors or by the geological evolution of the island, but also by the influence of man; that is, the way of cultivating of La Geria - all of which is designed to cope with a sub-desert climate. However, even though it is such a dry island with few features, it possesses an endemic range of plants as ...
