Day 128. Train to the coast

... We had opted for AC seats as opposed to sleeper, despite the agent trying to convince us otherwise. It was daytime, cheaper and a 7 hour journey. The seats were wider than bus seats and reclined! Jane wasted no time in getting to sleep. I caught up on the previous days blog then watched a movie. It was just a shame the guy in front of Jane fancied a sleep. He reclined all the way back (furthest recline ever) which was a bit ridiculous. He also had ...

We looked on a board that said it was about 30 to go the the island...WHAT! So we asked, and said we only want to go to island. Nope not possible. Damn. Back into the city. I think I looked out of the window once and mostly ...

... took the longest over water cable car in the world over to an amusement park. Mostly did it for the cable car, but ended up checking out the rides (a really fun one was the alpine coaster which was more like a personal go cart down a huge hill, where you controlled where to brake without hitting the person in front of you), also saw a dolphin show as the sun set, and checked out the really good ...

... group to review scuba diving operators that could take them on a trip tomorrow morning instead of the planned snorkelling. Rainbow Divers seems to tick the boxes and an 0600 start is committed to.

After a couple of hours relaxing including a brief visit to the smallest hotel pool I've ever seen we are back downstairs for a taxi ride to dinner. Our superb Exodus guide Thien is taking us to a restaurant for the locals. As ...
