Today we travel home from Nha Trang via Ho Chi Minh and Kuala Lumpur. 0745 flight means a 0545 pickup with a breakfast box. Quick trip to the airport and then a quick flight to Ho Chi Minh City. 8.45 arrival. The international terminal is a five minute walk from the domestic terminal so we go across and out our bags in storage as we have to wait until 1.30 for heck in and our flight doesn't leave until 4.45pm. We go for a walk to see if there is any shopping ...

... the front for you to see. Still alive and kicking. Helen had a shrimp dish I had sweet and sour pork. They were both lovely. The restaurant was filled with lots of demanding Russians. Felt sorry for the staff who were trying their best to help. Back to the hotel for one more sleep in our gigantic ...

We exit the station and need to find a taxi. It's just a bit too far to walk and we were both still pretty tired. I found a taxi driver who is willing to use the meter and we head to his car. Our bags are loaded then 2 seconds later we are being asked out of his car into another. Turns out the first taxi driver was not licensed for the train station. So we got into the new taxi, not without first being offered accommodation at a differing hotel. We had already had our accommodation ...

... clocking up to 50 plus dong he knew something was amiss. At the hotel he stayed in the cab and as the bell boy came to take the bags in he asked what the cost of a trip to the airport should be. It worked out half of what the rip off cabbie was going to charge us, so that's what Roger paid. Mr Cabbie was not happy. Nha Trang - more Russians than Vietnamese here. We have never seen so many Russians, in ...

... were taken to our mud bath where we lounged overlooking the valley listening to the rain pattering overhead. It's actually quite nice when it rains here as the sun is so strong it is nice and cooling. We took great delight in realising that we could float in the mud and whilst it had lots of purported benefits we just enjoyed how silky smooth it made our skin. After that we showered and then were lead back for a herbal bath. I couldn't figure out the smell but it ...
