... was in the morning and the temp was again about 7degs so we had to wear lots of warm clothes. By midday it was about 20degs and it was very pleasant out on the water travelling around this huge lake, which apparently has 4 times the amount of water as Sydney Harbour. There were lots of Kangaroos on the lake edge, and the land around was mainly farming pasture with lots of cattle, sheep and goats. We caught two trout about 50cms ...

We filled up with petrol at Nanango and had looked at staying at Crows Nest but didn't look that inviting so we stopped and had lunch of sandwiches in van just out of there before continuing on. Arriving in Toowoomba, how lucky were ...

Arriving at Pete's road about 1.30pm, it was a rough dirt track of a road and we could easily have missed his driveway, but luckily noticed his new post box with number on it next to a much wider entrance. The next challenge was to see if we were going to be able to turn and fit through his drive with a tree stuck right next to the track, ...

          ... 3 amps per
hour, the battery is never going to fully charge in an 8 hour period. So today I
purchased another 120 amp folding solar panel on eBay from Victoria, it was
only $189.00 delivered. I have arranged for it to be delivered care of the
Kalbar Post Office and I will pick it up whilst we are at the Jayco rally.

... that campsite with open fires and people and children everywhere. Seriously people this is 2014 and I am fairly sure there is a fire ban. What the useful receptionist failed to tell us was that it was actually a 15 minute drive up the mountain with no lights, a sheer drop and who knows how many animals wanting to ...
