    We drove to Heathrow very leisurely, and spent a good 2 hours in the BA lounge. The plane was a new Airbus 380 and we were seated upstairs. The flight was 10 hours but with nice food, wine and some movies it was not too bad.
    Arrival in SF was easy, with customs very quick, found the hire car desk but then had difficulty with the car / SUV as we couldn't get out cases in under the boot cover. Problem solved ...

    ... brick wall in the photos why they don't rely on brickwork alone. We stopped in Blackeney for lunch, for variety we stopped at the Kings Arms - the usual pub name is the Kings Head. Good food, beer and friendly locals. The tidal surges can be really fierce and the photos shows how bad the flooding can be.
