    We woke, had breakfast at the hotel again, then set out on a hunt for bikes. I was feeling pretty weak still, as I had been for days but didn't want to miss out on the bike ride. We found some road bikes with baskets on, eventually, and the man informed us of the direction we had to go to get to the hot springs.     ... time with success and took lots of photos underwater. We next went on to Phi Phi Don Island to see the monkey beach - bananas were thrown to the monkeys despite a sign saying not to feed them. We were reassured that it was a very old sign and that in fact it was better to feed the monkeys because otherwise they stole food from the resort next door and that 'monkeys like bananas but there are no bananas on this island' I wonder how the monkeys coped without a banana ...

Abdul's Roti for breakfast: we'd struggled to find good Indian food in Phuket which was strange considering the proximity to Malaysia, but wandered past Abdul's one day and it smelt right!
