... the main pool, no-one else there and a spa. Back for a shower then taxi to the airport. We went to pay the driver and couldn't work out why he wouldn't take our money. Ends up we had already paid on our hotel bill and didn't realise! He reluctantly took a small tip. Late lunch for Sally at the airport and some very last minute shopping. Had 2 good flights home, had 3 seats between us for both flights. Arrived back in Sydney at 10.30am and was picked up by Ben. A very relaxing ...

Steve still not 100%, he had a lovely Pad Thai with prawns, but probably should not have eaten. Back to the resort for a relaxing swim and a cocktail by the pool. ... back and got a cab. They quoted us 800 Baht, which was double what we paid to get there. We bargained and got to 600 and headed home. Still quite a great rate for over twenty minute cab ride. Still getting used to the driving on the other side of the road. When looking out the window daydreaming and to look up and see a car coming at you on what feels like the "wrong side" of the road shakes you up for a minute! Not more ...

After an extremely long and life threatening journey, we finally made it from Chang Mai to Phuket. We left Chang Mai at 7pm on the 24th and got an 8 hour bus to Bangkok, as soon as we got off the bus in Bangkok we were harassed by the locals all wanting to take us to our next destination - they are so pushy it's horrible! We got out of there as quickly as we could and got a one hour bus to sai tai mai to get another bus to Phuket (which is where you ...
