    Nice spacious rooms, good location at a decent price for the season. We booked on and got a good discount. Would stay here again.

    Tuesday 8th July

    Arranging to wake up nice and early to drive for 2 hours after our day at the Stampede probably wasn't our best plan so far. Either way, that was the plan for our Tuesday and as we'd reserved a rental car, we were sticking with it.     On the way through the park we came to a big downhill section, there was a sign saying “Trucks test your brakes” and a bit further down the road a lay-by for the trucks to test their brakes. I don’t know how they went about doing this, maybe they accelerated into the lay-by then slammed all on, or perhaps they jacked up the wagon and went around all the wheels testing them but there were plenty of trucks stopped there.
