Nice spacious rooms, good location at a decent price for the season. We booked on Hotels.com and got a good discount. Would stay here again.

So with all the errands that needed to be done this morning, it was 1pm before we finally pulled out of Lethbridge. We headed up and by-passed Calgary, and as the location says we stopped and decided to stay the night in Banff, Alberta.

We took a drive up to the gondola I wanted to take a trip up the mountain, but at a mere $29.95 per …

It's absolutely freezinggggg cold on the mountain today. The wind feels like needles in your face, especially at the top of the lift. But we want to be skiing and riding, nothing is gonna stop us now!

We go up to Sunshine Village today. From base station you take a 20 minute gondola ride to the village. A ride we enjoy over and over.

Bow Falls is a major waterfall on the Bow River just before the junction of it and the Spray River. The falls are located near the Banff Springs Hotel and golf course on the left-hand side of River Road.
(Wikipedia)As we picked up our rental car from the Banff Springs Hotel we visited this small waterfall which is only a few meters high.
