We met these two Dutch guys who had auditioned of Holland's X Factor so sang some sort of boy band music to us, absolutely hilarious, we made videos. We danced and met more randoms but then decided it was time for more food and sat on the street eating as much as we could. We got into a fight (mainly Millie) with some tiny man about his friend's hat which was also very funny. Another 5.30am finish.
To reach the island of Ko Phangan, we first caught an overnight ferry to neighbouring Ko Tao before taking the 6am super fast (and super choppy!) catermeran to Phangan, arriving at the main jetty town of Thong Sala around 7am. We took a jeep taxi to our planned destination, Haad Salad (Salad Beach) and rented a bungalow at Sea Salad Resort.
