... with our travels. John and I are flying to to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia tomorrow which is going to be such a treat to have only a 2 hour flight instead of 15 hour journey. Richie is heading down south to the islands which means we've lost the last of our Vietnam crew. It's pretty sad that our trip is coming to an end but I'm getting pretty psyched to come home and see everyone again!<br><br>XX

... we carried on. At one point the handler jumped off our elephant into a tree to collect something for dinner, leaving Lizzie and I alone on a wandering elephant. Luckily it did return when told and we set off on the second half of the trek. Kev and I sat on the elephants' heads on the way back, and we fed them bananas; always a good way to spend an afternoon! Back at Lonely Beach we headed out for food and said goodbye to the Island, Bangkok tomorrow...

We spent two wonderful hours at an elephant perserve! There were tons of elephants and they are really really well kept (which is really nice to see!) We had a 2 hours elephant trekk (our elephant's name is Tommy and is only 4 years old), we sat on some sort of a bench that was placed on his back and we had a trainer that lead the way ...
