... lanes around to find ever more wonderful views, interesting shops eg... guns and rifles in all their glory!! (yep - off the shelf), palace, church and a huge race track where they do trials (we could hear them in the background). It was like a rabbit warren in a way, but going up instead of down.
We went for an early morning walk to see the sunrise the next day. It was magnificent!

As I wrote in the title, I had ...
... as each seat filled the novelty soon wore off. It became cramped and uncomfortable... both physically and socially. As soon as we got to Austria however, the stunning views of the huge, steaming mountain forests, and ice blue rivers took our minds off the traveling conditions. On several occasions we couldn't help but gasp and 'wow' at the surroundings (which I felt quite guilty for doing because there was a blind woman in our carriage).
Nevertheless, it is an understatement to ...

The beach is actually sand, which is a novelty for Italy. We picked up some of the free bikes from the hotel and rode all around the city. I stopped and had a quick swim, Outside of the fact both of our asses were completely numb and bruised afterwards (not the best bikes ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy moore_mattj... There is the most incredible sheen to them; some are from the 3rd - 4th centuries AD, and yet they look like they were created yesterday. Pretty much everything else in Europe has been - as Mat so delicately puts it - "covered in cherubs and gilt!", and it's unexpected to find a place so untouched through the Renaissance.
Next time we will make a few days for this lovely town.
... the ten, I checked a couple plays to Reggie and he found the end zone to put us up a commanding 35-13. The third quarer ended and we were in complete control of the game.
Other than the lone long touchdown pass, the Marines proved incapable of producing big plays, but they managed to slog down the field inside our ten on the next drive. Our defense dug in, and on third and goal from the seven, 2 ran a slant hook in front of me, I saw the quarterback staring ...
A disgrace I know, but I didn’t take any pictures in Forli , in fact I almost didn’t take any NOTICE of Forli at all. A slight distraction in the midst of me preparing last year accounts and my VAT returns before we depart for Asia. I had to get it done and yes I felt like a boring old b******d but when it was all done it was wonderful. The hotel here was nice ...

Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy kasnsqueak... in English. Needless to say I don't say as much as I do at home! However, I am learning new words rapidly - particularly the most useful ones as I need to use them everyday. You know, words like this, that, atleast, I don't know, I don't understand, how do you say ... in Italian etc... I make quite a few mistakes, and we have a laugh when I make really silly ones like the other night when we went out for dinner with some of Gianluca and Manuela's friends I called a "cup" a ...
