... that are named White Beach (and there are many) are extra special. They all have long stretches of perfectly soft, sandy and yes, white, beaches and the sea is that crystal clear, turquoise colour. We apologise, we know we used this description for Thailand, but there are only so many ways we can describe postcard perfect paradise. And we didn't think it was possible, but the beaches of the Philippines are at least 10 times more stunning ...

So basically here is just a quick 3 day stopover to get the last of the warm weather, and so far we are not dissappointed!!! All day yesterday was spent on the beach, all was going as normal until this youngish guy, in see through white cotton underpants, long hair, (only on his head), decided that he wanted to chat with us. promised the chatty pet Mynah bird and cute kitten soon put smiles on
our faces. We were invited to look at the room and hit our first
hurdle a weird grey shrew creature spread out on the hostel steps.
After a few girlie squeaks I managed to brave stepping over ...

... was a well maintained place with spacious, comfortable rooms and a great restaurant bar area looking straight out onto the aquamarine water with two floating bars for those who didn’t mind mixing drinking and diving. Apparently there was very good coral, fishies and a fairly deep shelf just past the bars where much of the diving took place.

Overall the place turned out to be a fairly well run ship. The meals were prompt and accurate, ...

So it has been a little while since I last wrote and a lot has happened in the past few days!
Dr. Leonardo has put us in touch with some of the students at CPH (Undergrad Juniors) who are really involved in student organizations and extra curricular activities. We have found this to be EXTREMELY helpful and FUN! They took us out to eat, showed us around campus and the hospital, and have invited us along for student-led activities. They took us to ...
