    ... that are named White Beach (and there are many) are extra special. They all have long stretches of perfectly soft, sandy and yes, white, beaches and the sea is that crystal clear, turquoise colour. We apologise, we know we used this description for Thailand, but there are only so many ways we can describe postcard perfect paradise. And we didn't think it was possible, but the beaches of the Philippines are at least 10 times more stunning ...

    So basically here is just a quick 3 day stopover to get the last of the warm weather, and so far we are not dissappointed!!! All day yesterday was spent on the beach, all was going as normal until this youngish guy, in see through white cotton underpants, long hair, (only on his head), decided that he wanted to chat with us. (mainly Linda)!! hahahahahaha.  Whilst i play frisbee with a dog, who decides to eat half of it, and find it amusing to run off with it ...

    ... main “town” area a mish-mash of bars, hostels and dive
    schools. We walked to the quieter, western end of the beach and found
    Villa Sabang. Initially disappointed because there was no pool as
    promised the chatty pet Mynah bird and cute kitten soon put smiles on
    our faces. We were invited to look at the room and hit our first

    So it has been a little while since I last wrote and a lot has happened in the past few days!
    Dr. Leonardo has put us in touch with some of the students at CPH (Undergrad Juniors) who are really involved in student organizations and extra curricular activities.     ... Sabang for the past 12 years and recommended we walk about an hour up a very steep dirt road to visit the Mangyan tribe, which means mountain people. Anyways Sunday afternoon we took Chuck’s advice and made the sweaty hike up to see the tribe.
