... along the beach finding a lovely restaurant (that actually had 3 or 4 tables of people) and enjoyed a really good meal and drink!

Saturday 6 June...
We got up, headed to the beach to sing 'happy birthday' to John, then went back to the room, packed our bags and took a taxi to another (supposedly busier) resort on Koh Lanta.
We arrived at a slightly quieter (ie, silent) resort but this one did have a 7/11 in walking distance and a restaurant opposite ...

Thailand: Krabi and Koh Phi Phi

... sea creature I’d be amiss to name. Starring into the blue, when you can’t see anyone or anything else is one of the most daunting things I’ve yet to experience. It was literally staring into unknown abyss. ... all the really touristy parts. It took about 40 minutes to get there and we stayed for about an hour. Old Town wasn't huge but there were some really nice little shops and a pier which we walked along. We also visited an old temple and it was actually nice to see a temple in need of some renovations. That might sound weird but it was just more authentic. We headed back to Long Beach (where we were staying) in the late afternoon and watched the sunset over the ocean. It was ...

... discussing tactics before taking shot and their faces of concentration were so funny, meanwhile Jess and I were dancing like idiots and then just throwing the ball off the cuff. The best part was we won! However Kirill (the Russian) looked furious! So funny. He almost got into a fight with a thai guy later on that night and I think it was because he was still frustrated that he lost at beer pong! One of the bars in Phi Phi has a Muay Thai boxing ring and they offer free ...
