... the finale Season 2 of 'Breaking Bad'. It got to around 8pm and we headed out for dinner. We tried going along the street but quickly realised that we were very much in the middle of nowhere. So we settled for our resort restaurant, which offered a variety of mushroom cocktails and joints! I ended up settling for a chicken soup while Su had macaroni cheese. There wasn't much else going on so we went to bed at around 11, with no alarms set hoping to catch up on some sleep. ...

... go overboard more than once. On our last night we walked up to the view point of the whole island. It ended up being more of a hike than a walk which obviously we weren't pleased about. You could see the small strip of land and beaches where the town is then the rest of the island is mountains. Ko Phi Phi had lots of bars on the beach all with fire shows and limbo ...

Moosa recommended a place more South of the island as he said it was cheaper,we said we would give it a try else we will go back to the place we were originally going to stay in. We opted for the bungalow initially, but the room was just to small, although it would have saved us a lot..£12 a night. We ended up getting a bigger room with aircon and a fan, which we use both! This worked out to £20 a night. ...

... these problems by adjusting Ron's mask and altering our course slightly. That's diving, sometimes these things happen. We saw plenty of marine life during our first dive, including some unusual sea moths, big schools of chevron barracuda, cornet fish, giant clams and lots more. When we reached the surface 52 minutes later, Ron looked like he'd done a round with Mike Tyson! His mask had caused such a squeeze that one of his eyes had swollen up! We stopped for at least a one hour ...

... chicken followed by more sticky rice! All yummy. On the walk back home we came across a few more stalls, including one selling fried insects. Well, I couldnt miss the opportunity could I? I got a selection of different sized crickets, grubs and wasps for 40p. The initial taste was nice but the aftertaste of all but the smallest grubs wasnt very pleasant. The smallest ones tasted like crunchy chips! After some Skyping back at the bungalow, we fell asleep, exhausted from a long ...
