    ... in another beautiful country.

    To be honest about Lagos, there is not a huge amount to do apart from sit on a beach and enjoy the nightlife. But to be fair, both of those are very good. We just came a little unlucky having arrived in a couple of overcast days with the water being very cold.

    ... seem to speak some English, but they are delighted when do don't have to - RESPECT! Yay Kate! Very warm welcomes and huge smiles seem to be the default attitude here. Although it's hot - about 30 degrees each day we were here - the city has thousands of trees and gorgeous shady squares where the temperature drops by 10 degrees and a refreshing breeze cools the happy flaneur at every turn ....oh joy and rapture ...

    ... out as we were loving the vibe of the place, being a very young and energetic vibe, but knowing we were booked into a hostel called the Gspot Party Hostel for the next 2 nights. But this place is really cool, it is full of young people and the streets are full of life. We are right in the centre in both of our hostels we are staying in and are really looking forward to spending the next 2 days lounging on the beach and exploring the wonderful streets.

    ... to the car rental company over the phone what had happened, and then trying to understand what the solution would be. Just how wrong could we be? Just getting to the globe was a challenge in itself, but then, it still didn't work when the new globe was finally put in….. déjà vu.     ... for me, and asked if we wanted to join their group for a bike ride tomorrow. "Sure, we're in! We are taking a bus about 5 towns East down the coast: Quinteira (about 45 minutes). Apparantly it is lovely, and flat. He has about 8 bikes reserved (13 euros for the day) and it will be up to us if we want to keep up their pace, or go our own way.
