... but still, very very cold!!! But it was a good day out to see this area of Germany, but its just so hard for me because it is so cold. I don't know how people can live like this, it is completely ridiculous. And I just remembered why I didn't enjoy being in France all those years ago...just because of the weather! I would have liked to wander around the towns, cities and se much more of the country...but in SUMMER!!! I really either need to follow summer ...
Lübeck, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany ilovetheworld... of the six actually said, "These Polish people are so stupid. No one speaks English here. How the hell am I suposed to eat here, huh?" Did it ever occur to you that you are not in an English speaking country? Huh?
Without missing a beat, her friend with those black square sunglasses that wrap around the regular glasses said in thick New Jerseyese, "I don't know, Phyllis, ask that idiot standing over there." Guess who that idiot happened to be ...
... to learn a little bit of German or else use sign language because few could speak English. I liked it, it made it more real. I felt like the only foreign tourist in the whole place. It was very peaceful, and the hostel quiet with only one other occupant in my room.
... at!
After 4 days in Lubeck, we headed down to Travemünde, a beach and harbor city on the coast of Germany. In Trave, among things, we visited Germany's Knotts Berry Farm: Hansapark!! :-)
Germany is a great country with lots of culture!
I strongly recommend a visit there!... We will be back for sure...
Please enjoy our pictures!... :-)

... town of rats which he did but was not paid for it so he returned and in vengeance lured the children away and they were never found. The rain fell as we left and we drove on north to the town of Lubeck on the northern coast . We stopped here to camp overnight at a basic but overpriced campsite just out of the centre. We planned to get the ferry to Denmark tomorrow from nearby.
Lübeck, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany kasnsqueak... got from the door to the dance floor, Carolyn was done dancing with him and he was just looking on astonished as she danced with some other guys. Dustin and I didn't really know what to think about that so we just snuck off and started dancing with random small groups. Most of the time, it was either two girls or two girls and a guy. We would get a few songs in and then either the other people would leave or we would go find a different group. We did this for ...
Lübeck, Germany pyro1312... This way we can still kind of hang around campus on the first weekend of actual school, something that we have all kind of been looking forward to since we may actually be able to meet some Germans and get to know some of the German kids who are now officially in our EE classes with us. Today was the first day of classes for us, we had a communications class (which will be about telecommunications, internet protocols and some RF stuff ...
Lübeck, Germany pyro1312... it through the world without getting blown up, shot, robbed, stabbed, carjacked, kidnapped, hijacked, poisoned, or killed and I accomplished all that in places that seem to make the news a lot for those very things. See dad? It is possible to venture past the all inclusive world of a 5 star resort somewhere and live to tell about it!! This is my last ...
Lübeck, Germany atlpilot36... perfectly normal and logical. The Lufthansa flight next door was much further away and they actually walked. Maybe Wizzair wants to keep everyone squished up prior to boarding so the cramped plane seems spacious by comparison. Who knows. My first impression of the A320 was how purple the inside was but moreso how clean it was. The plane actually had a new plane smell to it, too. Each seat even had a seat back pocket with a magazine, barf bag ...
Lübeck, Germany atlpilot36Our second weekend in Lüneburg Eva Vosshagen, our USAC director, took us all on a day trip to Lübeck and Travemünde. We took the slow train. So it took a while. Our first stop was Lübeck, a sister city of Lüneburg and fellow importer/exporter of salt back in medieval times. Lübeck is larger than Lüneburg, but it still shares that ...
