... a very high ceiling and we enjoyed hearing the organist play lightly. With plenty of hours of afternoon sun to go we walked through Bastion park, over the hill and along the canal side. If you are ever given the opportunity to go to Riga, please do take it. It will surprise you, and you will have a great time. The city is full of history and beautiful churches and buildings. The food is good, as long as you like goat guts and blood pudding. Only joking, they have some normal food as well, although you really CAN order those things off the menu and eat like a true Latvian.
