Day 28, Aug 9 (167km) - New Country New Outlook

Once I got to Edirne I had an energy drink and paprika chips. Not because I was craving them necessarily but because it reminded me of Cat and her extensive diet plan. Edirne itself was a pleasant surprise. there was a lot of activity and there were a lot of statues and fountains all over. Debut kebab!
Another early start today courtesy of the smoking hot room, the mozzies and the amount of fluid lost sweating through the night. Turkısh delıght
... we subsequently dıscovered Iskender. Thıs ıs a dısh of thın slıces of roast lamb served on a thıck pıta wıth a rıch tomatoe sauce and yogurt on the sıde. Sımple but delıcıous.
