Some of these places are kind of tricky to get to - and get from: they are not on anyone's No 9 bus route! Nevertheless the framework is there and we're now looking forward to November.

It is warm and sunny! Tis is unusual. We have walked to the village and back, total 1.5 hours down and up, each day to try and keep fit. Loving the flowers, hanging baskets outside impossibly picturesque cottages and all down the promenade. We can now go through the woods on a Segway, huge balloon tyres on them. More of that ...
... t quite sure how it was going to work but it sort of sounded to me like we needed to be there at that time. Breakfast is served at a large table with all the guests seated around it and everybody has a napkin ring with their name on it. If you are a new guest, you put your name on the ring and that is your ring and your napkin for your entire visit. And everyone needs to be there for the same time.
Ack! All a little ticked off this morning, as we woke to absolutely gorgeous weather. Two days of poor weather caused races to be shortened and cancelled - now they are over and we get the best weather of the week.
