          Day 16 - Memphis, Tennessee.

... is a ghost town, other than the cleaners and bar staff. We retreated back to the hotel for a snooze by the pool, it's just way too hot! Typical, as soon as we got outside the clouds came out. Beale street tonight had people on it but it wasn't packed. Still; we were wondering were everyone appeared from! It was so loud, music coming from all directions. Neon light signs outside of the bars, not tacky but just simple. Most of the bars had live bands ...

Then they brought us out a salad, then main (I had chicken and veg, the first meal that felt a little healthy) then they brought us out s'mores (they are biscuits with a square of chocolate on top, you melt a marshmallow put it on the chocolate then put another biscuit on top, like a sandwich and the marshmallow melts the chocolate) pretty freaking delish!! We hit up Beale st, the main strip with all the bars and clubs, reminded me a lot of Bangla rd in ...

Arkansas still on top – I 40 E from OK to TN was super smooth, with gently rolling hills and trees on both sides of the road. Left LR this morning under overcast skies and temps in the 50's. Arrived in Tunica, MS, to party cloudy skies, temps in the 70's and high humidity. I was on a stretch of road today just south of Memphis (perhaps within the city limits) that was filthy, strewn with ...
