Today we drove to the city of Metz where we were met by Georges, the President of the local IPA, who took us on a walking tour of his beautiful city. We met Georges outside the Metz Cathedral. This landmark dominates the city and it is clear why he chose this as our meeting place as it really is the centre of the city. One small drawback is that Georges does not speak English, and our French is ...

Like I'm sorry that my level of French is that of an 8 year old. I can think of a college-level answer in English, but I can't translate that into ...

... me know. The prof said he emailed us, but guess who didn't get an email? This girl. So instead of it being at 10am, it was at 9am. And of course it is a class that has mandatory attendance. Great...and another girl and I both missed it and when we went to talk to him, he was super rude to us. Last week, this was the prof that was super nice to me, someone ate a big bowl of sass this morning. I'm like umm I'm sorry that I don't check the bulletin board for sociology that I ...
