Our hotel was situated just outside the main town - about a 20 - 25 minute walk in - or so it shoud have been!
First afternoon we got here, we had a little walk into the townn itself to have a look for somewhere to eat later in the day. The town was stunning - lots of little gift shops, bars and resteraunts all nestled cloely together …

8. Interesting story I heard in the news - The EU's relationship with Switzerland is on the rocks because the Swiss government approved immigration quotas for EU citizens, which violates their free movement agreement and one of the EU's major principles. No one asked to see my passport on the trains and when I arrived yesterday, I followed signs for customs but didn't have to talk to an ...

Although just outside Annecy centre, the hotel is ideally situated for a romantic stroll along side the canal which leads into the heart of Annecy. This is where you will find all of the canal sided bistro's and restaurants. price wise not too expensive compared to some of the places within France we have visited.
