We took a drive up the road. It was basically free of cyclists bar a few crazy souls, one guy was trying to descend and basically slowing to a stop at the hairpins, to avoid sliding out. The poor bugger had 21 hairpins to deal with to make the bottom unscathed.

In the hope of getting out of the bad weather of Les Deux Alpes, we headed for our next stop near Lac De Paladru, unfortunately we didn't, if anything the weather was worse with almost constant rain for the 2days we stayed, we were still recovering from our bugs so we again spent most of our time in the van..

... I am already glad to be continuing my journey. I met a beautiful person who gave me a beautiful week. I was happy then, and I am happy now. A different kind of happy and for different reasons, but happy nonetheless. For the first time in all my life, I no longer fear the unknown. Instead, it fuels me.
As for Adam, I hope we meet again someday. And I'm sure we will - because I accidentally packed away the pajama pants he lent me in my luggage.
