We are staying at a hotel in the 19th Arondissement, so today we decided to do as many Parisians do, and take a walk in the park. We visited Parc de la Villette, and Parc des Buttes-Chaumont.

The owner of the place was the waiter as well, which generally lets you know you're onto a good thing for some good French food. Wednesday was another beautiful day in Paris and we took the Paris/Vernon train and then the bus to Giverny where we arrived at 11.45 and spent two hours wandering the gardens where Monet lived and painted.
Sofie, Amanda and I took many photos and it was a special trip for Amanda who had wanted to come here for many years and this trip fulfilled a dream for her.

to the Notre Dame cathedral which was really pretty. We were going to
climb the Notre Dame tower but the queue was to long. We then caught the
train to where The Louvre is and went in there for a look. I found it
quite boring because I don't like art but the Mona Lisa was cool. Then
