Scratched in the Face
... Still salty about this....but I put this aside to try and be friends. This did not go well because as soon as I tried to say hello she tried to scratch my face and climb over me. I tried to do a head bob to show her I'm friendly...and to be honest I think she is mildly cute. But she didn't respond well. ...
Aire on the quiet side
... park was out of town and the marking for the path to the caselles had been changed. We did find what we assumed was the correct path and were encouraged by the yellow flash markers that we met regularly. It was a bit of a climb to begin with and then, once on the plateau, it flattened out. Very pleasant weather, good scenery, nice views and no-one else around.
As the walk progressed we realised our guided notes didn't resemble what we were seeing ...
That Millau Viaduct
Ok we didn't actually stay here we viewed that AWESOME bridge then drove over it taking lots of snaps some good some just that memories for later.
I love the fact that the French glorify it as a French challenge beaten, when it was designed in London by an Englishman. Still it is a marvel and if you are in France and have the chance go see it, we are thinking of going again next year but this time going to stay in the valley below and get some different photo's.
