    ... hedges 12 feet high so no ad hoc conversations in many different versions of the same language with the neighbours. Whilst it looks very well kept a severe cutback would be better although I suspect they are the height they are to protect from the sun in summer, talking about the sun the forecast is clear blue skies which we have, and 24 degrees, currently 18 with the sun coming over the hills.

    Oh I must mention that my navigator managed to get us through the middle ...

    We were up, packed up and ready to leave by 8.30 this morning!!! No alarm was necessary as the dutchy caravan and family behind us decided to start packing up and left by 7.30!! We knew we had a bit of a trek today- Simon had planned it so we did a big drive and broke the back of the 13 hour drive back to Cov.     ... detour and well worth the drive.
    The bridge is beautiful and massive, 343 metres long and 2,460 metres high. We drove across, parked at the visitors' centre and walked up to the viewing area. It is quite magnificent.
    A short note on the toilets of the day -public toilet #1 - they only had squats, we don't need to go that much.

    After a long and tiring journey we arrived at our campsite. Weather is lovely so went for an uphill walk in the evening. Just enjoying a beer in the bar now. Day by the pool tomorrow me thinks. Did a little reading by the van after breakfast and then dozed off. After lunch went and had a dip in the pool.
