... the country for four months loomed in the background.

Thanks to the empty window seat next to me, I settled into my Swiss Air flight thinking I was going to get some sweet shut eye. Unfortunately, I was wide awake... While it's true that she generally doesn't drink nearly enough water, and we have probably been eating less fruit and veg than usual, she hasn't gone more than a day without a BM, and the fever she had wasn't consistent with constipation, the doctor said. Anyway, we'll increase ...

Day two in Geneva

A travel blog entry by jrpeacock on Jul 16, 2013

... off. This morning we asked if our room could be swept or vacuumed while we were out to remove the insect carcasses. When we returned this evening we were told that we had been moved so that the previous room could be deep cleaned. I think either the language barrier or a Chinese whispers effect had led them to believe it was an insect problem not just that we let a whole load in by accident. So more bag packing, lugging and stairs stood in the way of some chilling out and ...
