... arrived at our Evian hotel and it was lovely. After we settled in, one of us going on the optional extra were to meet at 4.45pm. We went to a tiny, quaint place called 'Yvoire' and it was gorgeous. It is a fortified village sitting of the edge of Lake Genève. On our morn walk we ventured into the back streets where the real people live and discovered more hidden beauty. We walked into the town square past Louis Pasteur's home and college.
