... the streets we passed a stall with a group of guys selling portions of bread from this one massive loaf. We got talking to the guys and it turned out they were fire fighters raising money to attend the next fire fighter games. They were lovely to chat to and we were more than happy to buy some of there bread to go with our jams! While I was in search of Napoleon's horse, Le Vizir, Bryan was more interested in the historical implication of each battle, and how they affected the survival and defeat of the French monarchy and empire. When my suitcase finally did come, the handle was broken and wouldn't come up. I thought to myself " this is going to be interesting trying to lug this thing around."
