Just a quick entry for tonight, as we're both really tired after the travel day.
We arrived in Paris this morning about 7am - approximately 40 minutes later than the scheduled arrival. They're renovating the arrivals area at Charles de Gaulle Airport , and there was a long delay going through passport control. The Best of the Rest
We have one day, and way more than a day's worth of plans. We began by riding the Metro to Saint Michele square to have breakfast in a cafe. Aaresh had an omelette and I had a warm goat cheese salad with a pound of undercooked bacon. Day 2 Paris: First full day!
... From the Marais we headed back to the apartment for an early night of dining in. Our dinner was humble but absolutely delicious and washed down with a 2009 Bordeaux. Dinner started with some local cheeses, pate and prosciutto with bread. This was followed by roast chicken and vegetables.
