... It was hilarious and I was surprised I enjoyed a puppet show. Lol but did. Apparently these guignols or handmade puppets had been invented here in Lyon probably hundreds of years ago.
I am going to be decorating the Christmas tree in a few minutes and I just finished helping Michel mount the tree. Julie is playing with Christmas lights and I am relaxed in my little French world.
Until next time, and I hope sooner than later xoxoxo

... the UK. When I arrived Lis had cooked me an amazing 3 course french-themed dinner! I was so spolit by her the whole time I stayed, actually. It was so nice to see an old friend and completely relax in her company.
The next day I got up with Lis, who had to go in to university fairly early for classes. I headed to the Musee de Beaux Arts, via some great shops and a stop for a hot chocolate which came in a little jug and was so rich and dark I couldn't finish it! The museum was ...
... I am trying to make is though I am SO not YET ready for the house with 2.5 kids, I am saying that I am finding myself going that path. I always thought I would be the “high powered” career woman who would stop at nothing for success but I have learned that that is not the life I want. Now don’t get excited! You’re missing one piece, I am and still will always be the hardest working person you know, but my idea of “ ...

Its times like these I not only feel like a badass but I am also SO grateful I chose communications as my area of study in college (I feel SO sad saying that in the past tense, and old too). Communication is key to success in every aspect of a relationship ...

As you can see everything is kinda “glass half-empty” right now. I mean let’s re-cap ...

"the serious discussion" has not happened yet but I am more positive about it after having had such a great weekend. I have more reason to want to make things work,
Will write more when i know more..

I have just spent the quietest weeks of my life. I've stayed at my parents' house the entire month. I got eye surgery twice (left eye then right eye 2 weeks later) and could not go outside for a little while (too bright).
Some friends and cousins stopped by to visit though and my parents hosted two kids from "Les Petits Chanteurs a la Croix de Bois" two days after I arrived in Lyon.

Vienne, Rhône-Alpes, France erinkoval... so we got an extra seat cushion and 2 drinks and were ready to go. The first act was a French jazz orchestra called Martine with the Nelson Mandela Choir from South Africa. The orchestra had about 5-6 horns, 2 bassists, a pianist and a keyboardist, a drummer, and a guy who did miscellaneous things. At different times, different guys would conduct the orchestra and the choir. The choir was about a dozen women and a dozen men. The men ...
