... theatres which are used as classrooms for schools visiting the museum. The museum built on what we have been learning over the past few days and provided an excellent opportunity for Kate and Roy to actually read first hand accounts of the actions of the Resistance fighters such as smuggling allied soldiers over the Pyrenees Mountains into Spain, and has left us all wanting to learn more.

... museum, Kate and Roy decided they just had to go and play in the nearby park. At a beautiful 2 degrees, why not! The kids had a fun time trying out all the play equipment with the highlight being a standing see-saw as well as dragging mum and dad into relay races over logs burried end up on the ground. We were not the only ones at the park and it seemed quite a popular spot for families even in the middle of winter.

And another adventure begins. A seamless early morning journey to the airport courtesy of West End Lane cars and the Heathrow Express (door to air side in 1 hour 15 mins!) where a welcome breakfast panino and an unfeasibly large container of Cappuccino helped my reach the stage of conversation.
