      I love it! The porcelain fixtures in McDonalds is by Villeroy and Bosch! We started the week by spending the day in Moulins. We went to the cathedral. The outside was stupendous. The main entrance had all been re-faced and the patterns were wonderful. There were some nice stained glass windows, but on the whole, the inside was underwhelming. Lovely medieval town - ...

      ... for a while with no luck.) After finding a patisserie to eat breakfast in warmth, we also lucked out (we thought) and found a dump station that fits our camper. Even better luck, found a warden who can give us a token to use it. (Many dump stations here cost money, don't take cash and require a credit card with an electronic chip.       ... Nevers crossing the Loire River. Walked Nevers old town and found a lovely restaurant with fixed price plates. Oysters, then herring (for Sonja)' cold chicken & an egg (Alan's)' then lamb & steak respectively. All for 15€ each. Medieval towns we drove through & saw through the day were amazing & amazingly quiet - almost dead. ...

      ... 3 flights of narrow stairs (luckily we only had our backpacks and had left the big suitcases in the trunk of the Duster!) and into our surprisingly modern little room.
