Early Monday morning on Oct 13 with a couple of hours before we were leaving for the airport, good old Delta gives us a call to let us know our 8:45 PM flight from Atlanta to Paris was ...

Also there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky when I was leaving Poland yesterday evening and that made for an even better flight than normal! Sometimes it's the simple things in life!

Tonight we met Maurice and Flavi at the most amazing restaurant for dinner!! I had escargot as an appetizer and then a big rare stake ...

... such a calmness come over me. The stained glass windows were so eye catching as the sun glistened through. It was a good thing we made an early start, no crowds at 8am. From the cathedral we walked along the River Seine with map and iPhone in hand. After about 15 minutes we ended up at the Louvre, again no queues, so straight in we went. Mary was a little hungry so we made a detour into the cafe at the Louvre. I was served by a very ...
