    ... is something for everyone here. Maje, Wolford and Zadig and Voltaire are a few of the high street brands with stores in the area. There is a wonderful Melissa shoes pop up, but unfortunately it seemed that the store was open only when the staff "popped up." Independents abound with all sorts of models from the too cool for school FrenchTrotters with an odd mix of magazines ...

    ... the Tower lit up we headed back to our hotel. We were almost there when we ran into another couple from our tour and they told us the Eiffel Tower was going to sparkle again at midnight which was going to be in about 15 minutes. We sat outside in front of our hotel which had a perfect sight line to the Tower and waited tor it to sparkle which it did, and it was amazing to see.
    We have an early wake up call in the morning so it is time to go to ...

    ... taken. We heard some music and stopped for a drink at outdoor terrace where some street musicians were performing. After they left we moved on and as we waked past a restaurant, we could here piano music, so that decided dinner. It was a good choice; the pianist was very good as was the food.
    For the Foodies: Larry had foie de gras with egg which was strange but he claimed was good. I had goat cheese salad ...

    ... would normally add up to about $500 NZD for €184.00... Crazy!!! Our last meal out in Paris was a very very French experience - no English speaking staff, no menu in English...
