Today we slept in a little, then headed out. Unfortunately, Parisians do not brunch and we had a lot of difficulty getting something to eat. We gave up and caught the metro in town and settled on a burger lunch, after some failed attempts working out the busy lunch cafe systems at the eaton places closer to our hotel (we are in a non tourist area, and still to chicken to ask for an English menu or help) We made our way to he catacombs. Lovely picnic baguette in the Louvre Gardens and we now know ...

We 100% had missed it and would not be able to catch up to bike with them for the day, not only disappointing to miss out on the bike tour, but I had splurged on doing this tour ... and I had just wasted 80€ :( . The employees at the tour office were very helpful, when I asked them if we would be able to take the train there and walk around they said most definitely and called our guide to let them ...

... to entertain the elite and live a life of luxury apart from the commoners. He certainly succeeded! Each successive king modified and renovated the palace. Additions were made to increase its size, walls were put up to add create smaller rooms, walls were torn down to achieve an open concept effect.

We learned about the life of privilege for Le Roi et La Reine. They had up to 10,000 people in their courtier who ...
