      Some kind of miracle happened when we got to Paris without getting lost, dropped off the car with no extra charges and found the apartment we rented even though we had the wrong arrondissement.       ... I wanted to see this building up close as it is the building thr Nazis retreated into as the Allies surprise invaded. The allies were asked by the French not to bomb this historical building but to instead only use guns. All along the building the remnants of bullet holes are apparent in the building.
