We head back to the apartment with a few more purchases, some wine and balsamic we discovered in the apartment, 2 last croissants from our favorite bakery plus an almond tart for good measure, a handful of history magazines from a bookshop we passed everyday of our trip. Tonight we will feast on pasta and wine and the last of the cheese from the market while we take inventory of our ...

Bonjour: On Sunday, we caught the Thalys very fast train from Rotterdam to Paris, reaching speeds of close to 300kmh, arriving in Paris at 11.45am. We had 3 nights in Paris, so we had to cram in as much as we could. It didn't take long for us to master the underground Metro, a very quick, efficient and low cost way to get around. We climbed the Eiffel Tower at 10.00pm Sunday night, walked the Champs Elysees, visited Notre Dame, The Louvre, Arc de ...
