We checked out of the lovely Le Londres hotel in Saumur and started on our last car journey for this trip. Using a combination of map, signs and GPS we navigated our way to Paris, using the faster highways and some toll roads. We enjoyed lunch at a cafe with a great waiter down a side street and met an American couple whose son was getting married later that day, how romantic. We walked around more to see Musee Dorsay, the Louve and bartered to enjoy a tuktuk ride to Notre Dame. We got lost in the train station ...

... with a bag of chocolate and tried to give her that. To Isabel's credit, she stood there and said "NO" to him quite loudly and very firm. This man was doing this when Isabel was standing in between Peter and I. It was getting a little scary. Very proud of Isabel. It was a great lesson in stranger danger. We really needed the queue to move quicker.

There was only 5 minutes left now before it closed and we still were not at the front. Then they ...
