... holiday" - we got rained on this morning on our was to St Hilda's. Luckily it is only a few minutes walk and it wasn't bucketing down. The perfect day for sitting inside.

Lunch time was a catch up with Catriona, Graeme's wife. While she is often "in town" with Graeme when conventions are on, she doesn't get involved in the stuff we do. Tom and Emma both had coupons for 2-for-1 smoothies so that worked perfectly, and then I suggested a walk over to Christ Church meadow once we got the snacks, and it was agreed that this would be our plan. So first we went to Boost for smoothies, which Emma and I both love. Andy and Pete had never been there before, and it was a comedy of errors watching the guys order ...

... it quite close anyway because we left Oxford at 4PM. Since I wasn't feeling well and Emma had been at the hospital all night we really needed the morning to rest, and there was a 4:07 train that would put us in to Stratford around 6PM. Plenty of time for a quick dinner and some sight seeing before the 7:15 show. But then we arrived at the train station and learned that the 4:07 train had been cancelled. Why? Because this is Britain, so why ...
